Make an appointment for relinquishment/rehoming or cremation services. Appointments for animal services are recommended, but not required. Appointments are available until 30 minutes before we close. If you find a stray animal or need to reclaim an animal, please call (303) 442-4030 or email u at servicedesk@boulderhumane.org so we can help you once you arrive.

Boulder Animal Protection

The HSBV animal care team is prepared to provide ongoing support to the pets of community members impacted by COVID-19 by sheltering dogs, cats, and small animals. HSBV is not an animal control or law enforcement agency.

For calls regarding a stray or injured domestic animal in the city limits of Boulder, please contact City of Boulder police dispatch at (303) 441-3333. To report domestic animal conflict such as nuisance barking, general questions, and non-emergencies, please call Boulder Animal Protection directly at (303) 441-1874.
